Link: Users can share news by copying the web address of any relevant article from the Internet, as well as attach a comment if desired limited to 1982 characters, and selecting the corresponding category so it appears on their HOME page.
Rate news: Users have the opportunity to rate each news item with gradual emoticons that express various reactions, from admiration to indignation. Once the news is rated, it appears in the TOP section so the entire Democra network can see it, and its title appears in the color of the average rated emoticon, so the user can instantly perceive how most users perceive it.
Statistical information: When rating a news item, users can see next to their name in the same news item their vote (emoticon with which they rated the news) and their affinity (which is a % that indicates the degree of distance from the average rating). They can suggest the news to the sources that follow them through the icon and access regional statistics that show the distribution of votes by the different regions of their country through the icon with an intuitive color visual design that summarizes what the rest of the users think about the news.
Affinity colors and personalization: The user's name and the color circle surrounding the user's image in any news item is presented in the color that indicates the user's affinity in each news item. This option can be configured to be shown or not in the user configuration.
User Accumulated Data & Colors
The user's accumulated data on democra.net includes:
🔸The average of their ratings represented by the average emoticon of their votes.
🔸The accumulated percentage affinity, which reflects how much they align with the average ratings of other users in the news the user has rated.
🔸And the total number of ratings made.
This information can only be seen by the user themselves, no one else.
The Top shows the most rated news from all of democra.net, ordered from highest to lowest according to the number of ratings, thus highlighting the most relevant ones in a simple and direct way. Users can apply filters to view news by specific categories or time periods (last 24 hours, last week, month, year, or entire history), always maintaining the order by number of ratings.
The Sources section allows you to search and follow other users by filtering by location or username. Icons indicate actions like following or unfollowing a source, as well as knowing if a source follows you. Additionally, when following someone, any news you suggest will appear on their HOME page. You can see sources that follow you and those you follow in dedicated sections.
A New Era of Digital Democracy Is Here
Can you imagine a world where YOU decide which news is relevant? Democra is the revolutionary platform that transforms the way we consume information and participate in democracy.
What is Democra? The Platform That Will Change Everything
Democra is much more than a social network: it's a tool for information democratization. While other digital platforms focus on accumulating wealth and power in the hands of a few, Democra returns control to where it always should have been: in the hands of society.
Information is power, and the time has come for that power to be distributed equitably among all people.
The Democra Advantage: News Prioritized by Society
Tired of algorithms deciding what you should see? On Democra, news is ordered by citizen ratings, not corporate interests.
✅ Users choose what is relevant
✅ Total transparency in information
✅ No algorithmic manipulation of content
✅ Real democratization of news
The platform doesn't decide for you. You and the community decide together.
The Future of Digital Democracy
Technology at the Service of True Democracy
Did you know that the technology already exists to create much more effective democracies? Democra demonstrates that it's possible to organize societies where citizens actively participate in crucial decisions, without depending on "representatives" who decide for us for years.
Imagine the power of regularly deciding on issues that really affect you.
The Swiss Model: Inspiration for Global Change
Switzerland already does it with its regular referendums. Democra wants to take it to the next level: using technology to facilitate massive and effective citizen participation.
It's time for a true democratic transition. We cannot allow power to continue manipulating the destiny of the majority.
A Revolution Through Transparency
The One-Person Project, Without Hidden Agendas
Behind Democra there is total transparency. This platform is born from the work of a single person with clear ideals, without manipulation by:
🔸 Political organizations
🔸 Media
🔸 Economic power groups
🔸 Political parties
Humble origin, giant ideals, but with a vision that can change the world for the better and more organized as well as choosable by all.
The Technological Paradox We Must Solve
Isn't it absurd? We use mobile phones to vote on television programs, but not to decide on wars, economic policies or social changes that directly affect us.
The technology is ready. All that's missing is the will to change.
Democra Philosophy: Simplicity and Accessibility
"Simplicity is the Ultimate Sophistication" - Leonardo da Vinci
Democra embraces this revolutionary philosophy:
🔸 Accessible to everyone, not just experts
🔸 No economic barriers to participate
🔸 Intuitive interface that anyone can use
🔸 Real democratization of knowledge
Wealth Distribution: Leading by Example
Democra doesn't just preach, it practices. Our future business model:
🔸 Maximum salary scale of 1 to 5, from first to last
🔸 No privileges for shareholders
🔸 Total and absolute transparency
🔸 Equity, not equality: rewarding intelligence and effort
Objective: create a network of companies that adopt this philosophy, allowing conscious consumers to choose where to invest their money.
The Urgent Call for Change
The Crisis of Current Capitalism
The reality that few dare to say:
🔸 Economic growth depends on finite resources
🔸 Many resources are depleted faster than they regenerate
🔸 Humanity cannot live at this pace indefinitely
🔸 We need to evolve towards a more leisurely life
Humanized Technology: Work Less, Live Better
Technology must serve human beings, not enslave them. If it doesn't fulfill this objective, it's a complete failure.
Democra represents this new technological philosophy.
Your Moment to Act: Join the Revolution
